Gabriela De Laurentiis is an artist and researcher whose work bridges the social sciences and the arts. She is the author of Anna Bella Geiger: a imaginação é um ato de liberdade (Sobinfluência, 2026) and Louise Bourgeois e modos feministas de criar (Spanish translation: NoLibros, 2020; Portuguese editions: Annablume, 1st edition, 2017; Sobinfluência, 2nd edition, 2022). She holds a PhD from the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism and Design at the University of São Paulo (USP) and is currently conducting postdoctoral research with a FAPESP fellowship. She was a visiting researcher at the Institute for Cultural Inquiry (ICON), within the Gender and Postcolonial Studies programme at Utrecht University. She is part of the artist duo Lâmina, dedicated to the transposition of techniques, the translation of images, and the production of spatialities.
